When I first set up Carifi, I had lots of connection issues. I discovered that in addition to AA, my phone was starting Android Assistant in Driving Mode. Disabled that, and all was well.

I’m using a Samsung Note9, Android version 10. The car is a 2020 Mazda6, s/w version 74.00.311.

Great tip. I have a new Kenwood DMX4707s and was struggling. This may have fixed it.
